With over 12 years leading global change in menstrual health, I’ve worked at the intersection of advocacy, education, and innovation to make cycles visible, valued, and powerful. From igniting Menstrual Health Day (28 May), to coaching individuals through hormonal shifts, my mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies—one cycle at a time.

Shifted global language from hygiene to health

I was a part of global team of experts coordinated by The Global Menstrual Collective that came together to define menstrual health to advance policy, practice, and research.

Clear, formal definitions help prevent misunderstandings and provide a shared foundation to guide collective action. As menstrual health is central to both public health and gender equality, having a unified and comprehensive definition is essential to advancing progress in this field. In April 2021, the journal Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters published the following definition of ā€œmenstrual health":
